I have been trying to perfect the Creamy Garlic Dressing that is in every restaurant back home in northern Illinois. I’ve come close, but there was always something missing. This still isn’t the same, but it’s better! Creamy Garlic with the addition of dill. YUM!
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup buttermilk
1/3 cup chopped fresh dill
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
4 teaspoons onion, minced finely
3 garlic cloves, minced finely
Whisk mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk in medium bowl until smooth. Stir in remaining ingredients. Season with salt and pepper. Cover; chill 1 hour to blend flavors.
